Help Us Take Action On Our Shared Priorities

On Saturday, March 20, Envision Prince George’s hosted the 21st Century Town Meeting, the single largest public engagement in the county’s history.  Over 1000 people came together to approve a vision for the county’s future, and set a list of priority goals to best make that vision a reality.

We need your help to take action on our shared priorities.

Participants at the Town Meeting identified a range of priority goals across the six Envision areas – Live, Work, Learn, Serve, Enjoy, and Sustain.  Community Action / Goal Teams will form around each of the priorities and they need your help.

Community Action / Goal Teams will begin to meet in early April, but before they meet we need to gather information for them about efforts already underway in the county and the best way to engage the public in our priority goals.

Town Meeting attendees gave the following three goals the highest priority overall:

  1. Responsive Government
  2. Top Notch School District
  3. High Levels of Safety

How can we best pursue these and the other goals you identified as a priority in the years and decades ahead?
