Liveblog: A Few Questions For Theo Brown

We got a chance to catch up this morning with Theo Brown, the Community Outreach Director for Envision Prince George’s, and asked him a few questions.

Q:  How did you get involved with Envision?

Theo:  Well, through AmericaSpeaks. I’ve been doing community outreach projects for, well, a long long time, and I live about a half mile away in Montgomery county.  It’s great project and people have a fantastic opportunity to have an impact.

Q:  What’s your role with Envision?

Theo:  I’m here to get the word out and to people to learn about Envision and get involved.  Also, of course to get people to come to the Community Forums and today’s Town Meeting.

Q:  What do you hope will come of today’s meeting and Envision?

Theo:  I hope there will be a lot of new people involved and that we can generate a lot of enthusiasm for this kind of engagement.  There’s a chance to build a clear sense of direction for action and that can have a huge impact… if people stay involved.
