Priority Goals: High Public Engagement Levels

SERVE: GOAL 2 - Attain high levels of citizen and public engagement and community problem-solving in neighborhood groups, community organizations, county and local governments, that support effective decision making and good government, and lead to high levels of citizen/resident empowerment.

In the Town Meeting, 43% voted in support of this goal, making it the #2 priority in the LEARN Envision area.

The PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT Community Action Team (CAT) will assess existing efforts in the county which support this goal, and work to identify key strategies to strengthen it.
