Priority Goals: Responsive Government

SERVE: GOAL 1 - Provide and sustain responsive county and municipal government that is efficient, transparent, accountable, innovative, forward thinking, meets the needs and desires of its residents, and known for its stewardship of resources and reputation for fiscal responsibility and integrity.

In the Town Meeting, a whopping 72% voted in support of this goal, making it the top priority in the SERVE Envision area and the highest priority issue emerging from the meeting as a whole.

The RESPONSIVE GOVERNMENT Community Action Team (CAT) will assess existing efforts in the county which support this goal, and work to identify key strategies to strengthen it.
