Prince George’s County Council Supports Envision

The Prince George’s County Council recently expressed its support of Envision Prince George’s. A resolution was proposed in June and was voted on at the council’s July 13 meeting where council members Thomas Dernoga, Samuel Dean and Andrea Harrison voiced their support.  The resolution articulated the council’s decision to uphold the vision, goals and priorities of Envision.

This resolution proves that the county council not only supports Envision, but also the thousands of business and community leaders, elected officials and citizens that have participated in the community building efforts of the initiative over the past 20 months.  Just as they have decided to do their part and stay involved in making the vision become alive, so has the county council.  This is a major step in creating a more vibrant economy and higher quality of life for everyone both today and for future generations.
