Implementing Transit-oriented Development

Sam Zimbabwe, Technical Assistance Director with Reconnecting America was the guest speaker at the December 16, 2010 Speaker Series hosted by the Prince George’s County Planning Department.  Zimbabwe is an urban designer with a background in TOD planning and pedestrian-oriented design.  His presentation explored strategies for delivering high performance TOD and highlighted best practices regarding TOD.  Reconnecting America is national non-profit organization that works to integrate transportation systems and the communities they serve.  Click here  and follow the links for 2010 Speaker Series to find a pdf version of this and other presentations hosted by the Planning Department in 2010.
