Build Innovative Green Communities

The Prince George’s Green Power Coalition will host a community forum on Building Innovation Green Communities, Tuesday, February 22, 7 – 9 p.m. at the Greenbelt Community Center, 15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD.  The forum will offer practical solutions for creating sustainable neighborhoods through innovations such as a green business incubator, a community solar co-op, and the first complete green street in Maryland, located in the City Edmonston.  Speakers include Dennis Chestnut, Executive Director of Groundwork Anacostia River DC; Lore Rosenthal, Greenbelt Climate Action Network; and Adam Ortiz, Mayor of Edmonston, MD.
