Discussion On Transit-oriented Development In Prince George’s County

On July 11 Envision Prince George’s and The Coalition for Smarter Growth sponsored a discussion centered on transit-oriented development. Residents and stakeholders were able to hear the views of a panel on transit-oriented development and public transportation in Prince George’s County. Farmers Market Opens On Branch Avenue

In an effort to rejuvenate the Branch Avenue corridor, particularly near the Branch Avenue Metro station, a farmers market has opened in the area. The market operates from 2 to 6 p.m. Fridays until November 19. The farmers market consists of six vendors, three of whom are farmers. Wizards And Mystics Offer Youth Summer Camps

From August 8-12 the Wizards and Mystics are offering authentic NBA and WNBA basketball camps for boys and girls ages 8-17 living in the Metropolitan area.
