Metro And Town Center Development Could Begin Soon In College Park

The University of Maryland, College Park is on board to start development for a light rail line and a town center on the east side of campus. If granted permission by federal transit officials, preliminary engineering for the $1.93 billion Purple Line could begin this fall.
