Trails Connect Prince George’s To The District

[WASHINGTON POST]  TRAIL WILL LINK PRINCE GEORGE'S TO THE DISTRICT You will soon be able to walk, run or cycle to the District from Prince George’s County along a 2-mile long trail starting at Bladensburg Waterfront Park. This trail will connect 24 miles of Maryland trails with 16 miles of planned trails in the District thanks to a $1.3 million project that began 2 weeks ago. The project should be complete by the end of the year.

In the Town Meeting, 56% voted in support of this goal, making it the #1 priority in the ENJOY Envision area. The RECREATIONAL, HEALTH, AND WELLNESS ACTIVITIES Community Action Team (CAT) will assess existing efforts in the county which support this goal, and work to identify
